What to check in any solar quote

  • Panel brand and model, and the product and performance warranty.
  • Inverter size and brand, and its warranty.
  • What is included: installation, permits, grid connection, monitoring app, wiring length and any backup.
  • How any subsidy or discount is applied, and who claims it.
  • Payment terms, and what happens if the roof needs extra work.
  • Get two or three written quotes for the same size so you can compare.
